THURSDAY ART ADDITIONS...

Just a couple things for you today!

 The first 3 pieces are completely digital creations.
I worked on the bird and branch series for a customer who loved lots of papers (for a custom deer) but the colors in her home weren't quite the right fit for the designs she liked. So--I created a bunch of things I thought might combine the two. These are just 2 of the samples.

Next I did the digital tree creation as a background for the outdoors theme here on my blog-but it ended up being too busy.

The fourth piece came about as I was scouring the internet for "patio" furniture. My mind started wandering to a pretty garden and whimsical art started catching my eye! It is an original acrylic painting on canvas, with some illustration and then some digital editing and digital color.

ANYTHING GOES TUESDAY...OUTDOOR TEXTILES!

Gone are the days of cheesy outdoor patio sets reminiscent of your grandmothers Palm Beach trailer court cottage! Today's outdoor fabrics and rugs are beautiful, modern and totally versatile. We are lucky to live in a time when we have so many options available to completely customize our outdoor space as we would our indoor spaces. These fabulous textiles are just as durable as they are pretty! Nice for parents with little ones such as myself who love the option of putting these kid friendly commandos on the front lines inside the house as well! MONDAY INSPIRATIONS...THE GREAT OUTDOORS VOL I...HAVE A SEAT

Finally it warmed up a little outside and we were able to think about all the things there is to do outdoors! My husband got the patio furniture out this weekend and we cleaned the yard of debris-it felt great! I love outdoor entertaining and my youngsters love to run around and play all day long-so it's really nice to have a pretty space to hang out . So this week it's all about the Great Outdoors and my Monday Inspirations in particular are all about the seating selection. This collection of lovelies show us that we do not have to buy outdoor patio sets at Walmart and Home Depot. Have a look at the modern outdoor chairs that are making me swoon....
