PRETTY MOTHER'S DAY DECORATING IDEAS...

Mother's Day is almost here! I'm posting some kid friendly DIY ideas for having a pretty mother's day full of relaxation, family time and cherished memories. Today is also my birthday, so I'm looking forward to the weekend for sure. Tonite it's grilled pizzas-one of my faves-compliments of my awesome Sister-in-Law-she's a great cook and friend! Tomorrow it's baseball games and a trip to Mom and Dad's and Sunday a Mother's Day brunch of some sort! Sounds good to me!

This idea comes from BHG magazine. I really liked the idea of displaying the memories in a pretty way that was also accessible. Too often we throw this stuff in a box and forget about it...Keep your cherished memories current with this cool idea-(love the flash drive)

TUESDAY PRETTY PALETTE...THINGS TO MAKE MOM SMILE

A common sight on Mother's Day is a nice vase filled with beautiful flowers. I thought this image was pretty and the colors I extracted from the photo are as fresh as a spring day!

I also used this palette to digitally color my drawing of a bird and some flowers. It's available in my ETSY shop too-convo me for customization options.

MONDAY INSPIRATIONS...THINGS TO MAKE MOM SMILE

Mother's Day is right around the corner so I thought I'd dedicate this week to all things MOM! The ideal Mom's Day for me is just spending the day with my boys, relaxing, having some peace, perhaps a slight pampering, doing something I enjoy(like painting or gardening), and maybe not having to cook!
